Hey. I didn't forget about you. How are you?
We are working on a "real" record, and also in the meantime, I will be releasing a collection of the compilation tracks I've done, some covers, and other oddities. This CD will available onilne and at shows. I'll let you know as soon as it's ready.

Some stuff that might interest you:
You can listen to an archive of a duo performance live over the phone from my apartment in Connecticut on "Phoning it In" WMBR 88.1 Cambridge, MA hosted by Nadav Carmel on May 11, 2006. The show's motto is "lo fi is the right fi," and I suggest you imagine the sound coming out of a Victrola.
You can listen to our duo spot from 2005 on April 8th's Profiles in Folk WSHU 91.1 FM Fairfield, CT. I was interviewed quite extensively by Steve Winters, Ryan and I played live music and Steve played some cuts from the self-titled CD. Here's what we played live: Steel Pier, How Many, How Fast?, Fine Tooth Comb, and Winged Victory.
Some radio stations that play my CDs: WPLR's Local
Bands ,
WXCI,
WFMU, WPKN, WFUV, WRTC, WXYC, WWUH, WRSU,
WERU, WKZE, Resonance FM (see links page for more
information.)
My music is available at Trash American Style and Gerosa Records in Danbury, CT, Brass City Records in Waterbury, CT, and from me at shows and by mail/PayPal at Little Cowgirl. Also Music Z (new CT local music
site) and CD Baby. Other stores and online retailers are listed in the links section: Carrot Top, Parasol, Flipped Out Records, Miles of Music, and others.
Here's a little bit about me (but it's not
a bio, I swear):
I make music in an unnamed genre (avant-psych-twang/clinical blues?) and my name is Lys Guillorn. My
name is pronounced "Liss Guh-LORN". I write songs, play a bunch of instruments (mainly guitar, but also keys/organ, lap steel, banjo, mandolin, etc.), and sing. Lately I've been playing a lot of duo gigs with Ryan Blessey (guitar, lap steel, vocals). I've got a few shows coming up with Ryan, my brother Michael Guillorn on bass, and Matt Moadel on drums.
